Spring fever!

With temperatures rising, my mind is all over the place. "I need that maxi dress, right!? What about this printed skirt!?!! But those shoes are on sale!!!!"...but I have to be tight with the ole wallet, if ya know what I mean. So how do I get my fix? By making a Spring wish list...hiiiii Caleb, if you ever see this....here's a few hints! ;)

Also on my spring wish list would be a super cute umbrella for all those rainy days, some brand new dangly earrings, and a simple black blazer to throw on top of all my bright, shiny tops!

I truly can't remember the last time I went shopping. Like -went to the mall and prepared myself to spend at least $100 on whatever I found- kind of shopping...I guess I just can't justify that anymore. So, I keep wearing the same things, year after year, purchasing a random top here and there... but not investing in good, quality clothing. I think maybe now is the time to sell some old clothes to a local shop, or use some hard earned photography money and get myself a few nice things. Waddyaaa sayyy, ladies?! ;)

I'm crazy tired, I'll just say that real quick. Caleb and I have been SO busy this week with our church's sports camp (post to come on that next week!), every night after work. It stormed pretty bad Wednesday night so it was cancelled, but I did get a chance to go to Sweet Frog (frozen yogurt!) with our youth group... and it did NOT disappoint. Sooo many yummy flavors to choose from.

Speaking of amazing things... time for June's Favorite Things!! Kbuuutseriously, how is it almost July already?!!? June had a lot to live up too...you know, seeing as May was the best month ever. Although I do have to say, LOTS of fun happened in June. Like... 1. Our honeymoon! We were there for the end of May to the beginning of June. Woo!

2. Finding this ahhh-mazing mascara.  3. Finding out this girl is moving a bazillion times closer to Cincy! Still not exactly next door, but definitely closer than the sunshine state! 4. Being a huge part of Sports Camp with my church. I had to get hoisted onto this giant trailer (like 20+ feet in the air) and take some fun pics...so while I was up there I thought, why not a shameless selfie?!

6.Winning a blog giveaway AND a mini iPad last month. Seriously, I want to buy a lotto ticket. 7. This book. I'll be talking about our debt story later next week, and also what we're doing to pay off thousands of dollars as quickly as possible.   8. Being married. That counts, right? Caleb and I had an incredible weekend. You know how much I love pictures, but this weekend I literally took NONE. Friday night we started our weekend off with a quick 5K on the treadmill (I am able to run 2.5 miles straight now, no walking breaks...my progress is making me so happy -- I did take a quick 30 second break to walk, then did another mile...it was awesome)! Then we used a gift card to get some Skyline Chili... mmm!

Saturday morning, I GOT MY WEDDING SHOES! Can you believe it?! I was so nervous, seeing as I've never purchased shoes online...and omg - they fit perfect. & they are SO comfortable.

Then I basically spent the entire morning cleaning my room, and had some delicious coffee cake with my grandparents in the dining room. Then my entire day/afternoon was spent texting with Ashley talking outfit options with her for her upcoming NC Blogger Meet up she has worked so hard to plan! She asked me to find some cute outfits, and did I hesitate? No!

Obviously this outfit screams Ashley. The skinny jeans, the adorable shoes and simple black/white blazer-tee combo. So I text it to her...and she says she literally just took some outfit pictures exactly like that. Amazing, right?

The other two cute outfits I found  were so full of color, I knew she'd love them.

Need this.

Do I even need to tell you all how much I need a blazer in my life? Particularly a yellow one!

LADIES, HELP ME! Where can a girl find an adorable (reasonably priced) yellow blazer?!

Long story short -- I love miss Ashley and the genuine, fun, awesome friendship we've formed. I don't think Caleb will ever understand how I can consider a "blog friend" a "real life friend" when we've never met each other (yet!)... but who cares? MEN. BE. CRAZY. ;)

Lets get back on track here...

So Sunday  we had church... it was an emotional day for me, but God reminded me how blessed I am. That evening we spent with the youth group and just had an absolute blast. I never knew how much working with teens would make me learn about myself.
