Remember that rehearsal dinner?

Oh don't mind me...I'm only 5ish months late to the party. I somehow realized the other day I hadn't yet talked about our rehearsal dinner and I must say, it was a night to be remembered. Caleb and I were surrounded by our favorite people in the world, stuffing our faces with amazing food and watching everyone get to know each other.
Can we do it again!?

Our pastor had us recite just a few words from the standard vows so we'd know what to expect for the following day, and oh boy...I was a hot mess. Literally! I kept having to turn away from Caleb so I didn't get overwhelmed. I am such a lucky gal!

& yeah, we had to practice...ok? ;)

I got to the church with super curly hair... and by dinner? Gone. Limp. Hardly wavy at all. Gag.

Caleb & his groosmen had a 9AM tee time that morning, and when I saw him I couldn't help but laugh. I asked Jared to remind him to put that sunscreen on his face, because I knew he wouldn't do it himself. Waddya know? They both forgot ;) but then I got over it, because he was still hot, and he was still going to be my husband the very next day!

It was such a blast just hanging out with our favorite people!!

This little gal (Nora) has Caleb wrapped around her little finger. Cannot even imagine what will happen if WE have a little girl one day!

I meaaaan, seriously.
Great grandma Agnes!
My grandparents from Florida!
My Grandpa Phil! Look at his blue eyes!!
Most of you know the story with my mom, so you know it meant the world to me that she could make it to be a part of my week!

Dads side of the family!
My MOH! She introduced Caleb and I back in 7th grade!
This gal.... I LOVE YOU ERIN!

Then we gave our bridal party their gifts! Little Finley loved his Avengers action heroes and coloring books!

& Maddie loved her pretty floral crown!

Thanks to my in-laws for the amazing dinner!
So us!

AMAZING siblings.

My goofy family.

Giving my ladies their gifts!
oh, hey Jared. ;)
To put it simply, the night before our wedding was just incredible.
I spent the night in my bedroom for the last time. Erin came back with me to help unload our cars, and we had a blast together for a little while just like we did the night before her wedding. I tried on my dress, and just danced around...and it was just magical. I have the best friends in the world, those girls up there did AMAZING things for me during our engagement and I am excited to repay them all for the rest of forever. Love their friendships.

This man is just the best. I remember the feeling waking up on my wedding day. I couldn't believe I got to marry my BEST FRIEND! This is the man who (before we started even dating) knew I had a bad day, left work, just to buy and bring me my favorite pint of Snickers ice cream. The man who listened to me cry when things didn't go right in life. The guy to make me laugh until my stomach hurt. The man who would make me the happiest wife ever.

I love you, Caleb!

Better late than never, right?

WE'RE COUCH OWNERS!!!!!!

I just can't even. You guys, we threw our love seats over the balcony of our second story apartment patio this weekend. I'm not even kidding!

Caleb and I put on our big kid pants this weekend and finally made our first BIG purchase together. A real couch, and a loveseat (theatre style)! We are in love. It may sound silly, but this will make our awesome marriage even more awesome. Actually getting to SIT by each other during a movie date night in? Whaaat!?

I don't talk about it much, but everything in our apartment is someone else's. Aside from shower gifts, nearly everything in our apartment was handed down to us. Which don't get me wrong, it was a huge blessing...but it didn't make it feel like OUR home. So, we decided it was time to get rid of the two LOVE SEATS...yes, you read that right... and buy a new furniture set for our living room.

I know they are a little blurry...but he was so dang tired, and took pictures with me anyway so I didn't want to ask him to do it again. Besides, these were actual moments. I set my camera (or so I thought) for one picture, and it snapped like 12 in a row.

Back to my weekend. It was amazing. Guys, seriously. Caleb had a guys night Friday so I hit the gym with a hard run and then spoiled myself to some "me-time" at home...complete with my first face-time session with my first blog friend, miss Ashley, and her more than adorable little boys. She will hate me for posting this picture, but miss thing just can't take a bad shot...so there. Regardless, Ashley feels like she's been a friend for ever. She's so sweet and selfless, and I cannot wait to meet her!

Saturday, we had a consultation with a bride at 9AM, then the rest of the day was spontaneous (hence...buying those couches!). It truly was the greatest weekend ever. Aside from the Bengals game, it was great. I'll talk about more in other posts. I have so many things to elaborate on!

Happy Tuesday!

High five for newlywed-ness!

It's Friday, friends!! It took forever to get here...which is ridiculous because its only my 3rd day back. I do have to say though, it hasn't been too hard to ease back into the swing of things, thankfully. Our firm usually hits a lull as the weather gets warmer, so I can't say it was unexpected. It has left me pinning more, daydreaming often, and lots of extra time to catch up on other blogs I love!

Yesterday, I had to drop something off to Caleb on my lunch break...he wasn't available when I got there, and he told me if I couldn't get a hold of him to call Jared (that is his twin brother...you know? Erin's husband--they work at the same place)...so it rang a few times, and he answered "HEY SIS!", and it really just made my day. Not everyone gets so lucky to "marry in" to such an incredible family. Erin & Jared are people that Caleb and I look up to in so many ways...and I'm beyond thrilled to now call them my siblings.

Jared!
Erin/soulmate. :)

*Non-awkward transition*

Since it IS Friday (and I still don't have my computer to upload honeymoon pictures!), you're getting a little list of my favorite things since we've been home from the honeymoon.

1) This view. I mean really? How amazing. Caleb had never flown before and absolutely LOVED it. We decided our favorite part is taking off...and the free pop (or soda, whichever word tickles your fancy).

2. Cheesecake Factory and the ridiculously unhealthy meal I ate last night. Yes, friends. Feast your eyes upon a cheeseburger with a fried ball of Mac n cheese on top. Don't forget a handful of perfectly crisped French fries and some incredible mint green tea. Do you have a Cheesecake Factory near you? If not...I suggest you make a road trip out of it this summer.

All you vegetarians out there, don't yell at me. This was amazing.
3. Our new mini iPad. Caleb and I had enough $ for Target (our registry was almost complete!) so we bit the bullet and finally purchased one! I'm actually using it to blog...so far, so good ;) I still cannot believe we didn't spend a dime on it.

4. All the "leftovers" from our wedding. Literally our entire cake (it was made just for our bridal party/immediate family) and dozens of cupcakes (although TONS were eaten), the pop, and loads of extra food. I think we'll be good for a while.

5. My husband. My husband. My husband. Okay maybe it's just fun to say, but really, he's been amazing. I wasn't sure what to expect since we'd never lived together...but he's been great. I am so thrilled I get to come home to that hunk every single day for the rest of our long crazy lives together. After my first day back at work, I opened the door and yelled those 3 famous words..."Honey, I'm home!" :) and it was awesome. Just like I always thought it would be.

This weekend, we'll be spending it at home, and probably poolside...which I'm more than pumped about. Any fun plans for you?

Happy Friday!
