I know its Friday, and I should be cheery, but last night...you know,
Halloween the Bengals game? Ugh. I'm a sad girl, today...lets just say that. We're a better team than that, we shouldn't have dropped so many passes and call me a "typical Bengals fan", but the refs missed a LOT of calls. So here I am, being a TRUE fan and saying we will come back from this. We still have an awesome record and we're still first in the AFC North. I'm just bitter. I wanted to kill those Dolphins (...I mean...)
Anyway. I will perk up. Promise. Happy Fridayyy.
All bitterness about the game aside (and the fact that I woke up 4 minutes before I'm supposed to leave this morning), I have a great weekend in front of me. Plans? NONE.
Aside from my brother's halftime drum line show at my old high school's football game tonight! Caleb and I have nothing planned for either Saturday or Sunday, and I plan to soak it all up! Preferably on the couch!
So just to cheer myself up. I'll name a few things making me happy on this Friday.
Katy Perry. I just can't even... this is the coolest album ever. As my sister-in-law likes to put it "it just makes me a happier person"... wisest words ever spoken, y'all. Oh and shoutout to Caleb for being the sweetest husband ever and surprising me with it...along with a hilarious card about monkeys (you rock, babe!)
City BBQ with my brother last Sunday. He and I don't get to spend much time together anymore. Between my busy newlywed schedule, his high school social life, and all the little things in between, it was nice to squeeze in a few hours of time with him scarfing down hush puppies and pulled pork. Sweet tea makes the world go round.
My Ashley, we spoke on the phone this week. Yes, it may have only been for .78464 seconds, but we did it. Planning to Facetime with her and her sweet boys this weekend, and my heart just can't wait! I feel like I've known her for years!
My car. It gets me where I need to go. In spite of being 13 years old, Nancy's (yes, I named my car) a trooper.
My new blog look... thanks to the best blog designer ever (and no I'm NOT biased because she's my SIL, I'm totally serious!) Seriously guys, its inexpensive, and she's great at it.... hit her up!!!!
Exercising. Last night I ran 2.5 miles in 25 minutes. I don't know if this is slow, or not...but when I think about where I started? I can now successfully run TWO and a half miles straight, no stopping?! It's blowing my mind. You guys, I'm bench pressing now, drinking pre-workout drinks...WHO AM I!!?
Happy Friday, friends.
