A whole lotta nothin!

I cannot tell you how INCREDIBLE this weekend was. Not only was it incredible, it felt extra long. If you read my post from Friday, you'd know we had almost NO plans (aside from my brothers halftime drum line performance at his high school Friday night)! It was glorious.

Saturday morning, I vowed I would wake up early and clean the crap out of our apartment. Did I do that? Heck YES I did. I turned on my Katy Perry Pandora station and Caleb woke up a bit later and made us some amazing turkey bacon and some scrambled eggs. We decided we'd make no concrete plans and let the day take us where it wanted too. 6 loads of laundry and a clean apartment later, we realized the UA hoodie I got Caleb for his birthday unfortunately was a smidge too big, so we drove to the outlets to exchange it... turns out the medium was too small. SO, since they don't make a medium-and-a-half ;) we got him some awesome new running shorts and even scored me a super cheap new running outfit.

After that, we returned home, flopped on the couch, and watched Monsters University. I laughed even harder the second time!

Sunday after church we did a quick grocery trip, made it home, changed in our sweatpants and spent the day baking and watching football. It was literal perfection.

We might sound like losers, two twenty somethings with no plans, I get it...but I don't care. It was one of the best weekend we've ever had together.

Happy Monday!

  3. I have no plans this upcoming weekend and I cannot wait! If it's wrong for twenty somethings to do nothing on the weekend then I don't want to be right, haha.

  14. Weekends with no plans are often the best weekends! We're always so busy with games on weekends, so when we actually have one day off together, we try our hardest not to fill it. Sunday is usually our best bet and we spent this Sunday, sleeping, snuggling, eating, watching football, and reading to each other! It was WONDERFUL!

  21. Those weekends are the best, in my opinion. Mine was just like that and I loved it. I much prefer low key weekends to weekends with big fancy plans! :) Happy Monday!

  22. Hey- sometimes lazy weekends are the best ones. You need a break from all the parties and the get togethers! Also, I haven't been on your blog in a while, so I didn't see your haircut- it's SO cute!
