Currently {April}

Making: vacation plans. Like I mentioned yesterday, Caleb and I have to choose a vacation spot and have so many options. We've tossed around the idea of California, Jamaica, Hilton Head, Virginia. It’s SO hard to narrow down when there are so many amazing places to choose from. I’m sure it will come down to where we can get the best “bang for our buck”. Any suggestions?

Wishlisting: that a magic fairy would come into my life and leave a huge pile of money so we can finally be DEBT FREE. We’re getting closer, but there’s still a lot left. Other than to be out of debt, I’ve been eyeing these super fun meal planning/grocery list pads, and these fun watercolor pens! So I can try - but probably fail - at making cute watercolor prints on my own!

Cleaning: our entire home. The basement (constant laundry and clutter), our fridge (I can’t help but clean it every single time we do groceries), our pantry (throwing out expired stuff), etc.! It feels SO good to clean and get rid of everything! Spring just puts me in the cleaning mood.

Posting: randomly. I am trying to keep up with at least 3-4 blog posts a week. Somehow, I feel like spring gets the creative juices flowing in me, but it also brings a lot of busy-ness for me! But hey, at least having a lot on the calendar usually means more blog material, right? ;)

Tasting: lots of fruit and vegetables. For some reason, I can’t get enough lately. I believe I ate the largest blackberry in existence yesterday. I even sent Caleb a picture, this thing was as tall as my index finger!! On the flip side, I plan to be tasting my fair share of wedding cake these next few weekends!

I hope you all have a fantastic Wednesday! Make it count!
Linking up with the adorable Anne and Jenna for their Currently series. It's always one of my favorite post prompts!

  1. It's always so hard to choose vacation destinations! Do you go back to places you loved before or try something new? So many choices. I know you'll love whatever you choose! Three cheers for all the fruit and veggies to balance out the wedding cake. It's all about balance. ;)

  2. Vacation destinations can be so, so hard! But wherever you go, I know y'all will have a blast! And if you figure out how to get that magic fairy to bring you money, please share your secret! Being debt free would be seriously amazing. And good job keeping up with the blog although you're super busy! :)

  3. Spring really puts me in the cleaning mood too - especially when we're all cooped up indoors on these rainy days. Making vacation plans is one of the best things to be making... have fun :)

  4. Choosing a vacation destination is SO hard! Which is why I always end up going back to the same places over and over haha

The spring cleaning bug has hit me too - I love finally feeling organized!

  5. Oooh vacation planning is my fav! All are amazing options, but best bang for your buck will be Jamaica for sure! You can't beat the all inclusive options of not worrying about paying for food, drinks, and activities once you get there. Can't wait to hear what you guys choose :-D

  7. You look so gorgeous in that dress! Outer banks is always a really good vacation spot if you are into less tourists and more relaxing. Ocracoke and Avon NC are our favorites!

  9. Oooooh, California WAS amazing! I still daydream about that trip we took two summers ago. Sigh, such an experience! BUT definitely probably not the best bang for your buck.

My best friend honeymooned in Costa Rica and then our good friends here just got back from a trip there, too. They all had only wonderful things to say about it, and the #1 thing they both pointed out was that it was incredibly cheap for the amount of time there were there and the things they did.

  12. Excited to see where you end up going for vacation! Jordan and I have become fans of the wooded, mountain areas in the US where we can rent a cabin and just kind of hang out and visit local (historical) landmarks :) before VA we went to Mount Rushmore so we joke that we are making a tour of the presidents!

  13. Jamaica, Jamaica, Jamaica!!!! It's BEAUTIFUL there!! And it will be harder for you to go there in a few years if you guys decide to start a family, so do it NOW! We went last year and it was AMAZING!

  14. We are planning a trip to FL before the second baby comes - it is one of our two favorite places to go in the summer. I would REALLY like to go somewhere tropical but 8 months pregnant on an island with a 2 year old in July doesn't sound fun, haha.

We have done a few last minute cruises that we found online for incredible deals if you live somewhere near a port! Or a port within driving distance (to save money on airfare).

Stopping over from the linkup. Hope you can hop by my blog as well!

  15. Totally debt free would be amazing! We are getting there, too, and then we decided to replace the windows in our house. Womp womp lol.
I'd say do an all inclusive for your getaway. You get a good bang for your buck and it's nice to pay it all up front and then have no worries while you're there. A truly stress-free vacation! I'm not sure of the summer prices, though, so check those out. Our favorite was Antigua, and then the Dominican but Jamaica definitely has some awesome all inclusives too.
