Hooray for Friday!

A few favorites from my week;

1. My brothers senior drum solo // I wrote this on my Facebook and thought I'd share it here as well;

Words cannot describe my love for you, baby brother. Tuesday night, as I and watched you absolutely rock your senior drum solo, I sat there in the stands just as amazed and enamored as everyone else. You’ve worked so hard for this, and your moment finally came. I had tears in my eyes as the entire auditorium rose to their feet in applause to congratulate you on a job well done. You knocked the roof off that place, Bran! The amount of time that you pour into the things you care about is extremely admirable, and I’m unbelievably proud of the drummer, the leader, and the man that you’ve become over the last few years. As I prepare to watch you graduate high school next week, I just wanted to take a second to let you know how much you mean to me. I’m thankful to not only call you family, but one of my best friends. 

2. This adorable boutique // a co worker took me to the cutest little boutique near work. Think Anthropologie - but actually AFFORDABLE. This is dangerous, folks.

3. Brides that I meet with who share a love of all things Disney and the color yellow // getting excited for the 2017 wedding season!!

4. Mexican Food // after a late night at Starbucks meeting a few bride and grooms, I hadn't eaten dinner and it was going on 8pm! Picked up my favorite - cheese quesadillas!

5. Free webinars // holla for free business/photography tips. Never stop learning, people!

I hope everyone has a fun weekend planned. Caleb and I have our first double header wedding weekend (one today + one tomorrow), but we're excited about the location of these new venues! Although I'm already exhausted, I'm happy to be pouring myself into something I love! Have a fun weekend!

Friday Favorites! {yay its SPRING!}

Can we all just take a moment to celebrate the fact that Winter is officially over and SPRING IS UPON US?!!? I, for one, couldn't be happier about this. Lets just hope the colors come back soon, I'm sick of grey skies!

As far as exercise?  This definitely wasn't my week. BUT, lots of other amazing things happened, and I can smile about that. In other news, I'm finally joining in on Amanda's awesome Friday Favorites link up-- but I'm just throwing out a BUNCH of random favorites. Is there ever a real prompt for these kind of link ups? Nah. That's what makes them so fun. Here goes nothin!

1 // I won a giveaway this week and got the CUTEST shirt to rep my city!
2 // Volunteering is already rewarding, but church decided to give us a fun little thank you last week!

Friday favorites + when your husband wins $76.

This week has been a little crazy at work...I'm covering for two people who are on vacation + my day-to-day responsibilities...so to say I'm ecstatic its Friday is a bit of an understatement. Excited to be linking up with this cutie today!

Favorite moments? We hadn't seen one of our favorite little girls (and their parents, of course) in MONTHS. We never go that long, and I was so afraid little Nora wouldn't treat us the same (maybe she'd forget how much she'd always loved us?!)...but the second we pulled into the driveway? Girlfriend ran outside and squeezed us harder than ever. We missed our Nora! & seeing my husband like this isn't a bad sight ;)

That spec under Caleb's eye? He accidentally got hit in the face with a rock last week.... #whoops

She "made my hair beautiful"!

Favorite recipe? Can't wait to make these, hopefully next week. Baked parmesan-zucchini! YUM!

Favorite surprise? When Caleb called me and said he won like $76 from catching a 40.5 lb fish the week before. #ourbudgetsaysthankyou

April's faves!

April was jam packed full of exciting things... and what's even more exciting is that TOMORROW begins WEDDING MONTH! Ahh.. it FLEW.

I know, I'm a broken record...anywho!

Onto my favorite things of the month;

1. My most "liked" photo of the month was this:

Probably because my caption said something along the lines of "I WILL BE A MRS. IN A MONTH!!" but truly...its fun to take silly selfies sometimes, right? Especially when we are so close to being married...the selfies will just be getting more and more ridiculous.

2. THIS RSVP...well, all of them really...but come on. Old school J-Lo!? AMAZING.

3. Getting a little tan.

Trust me, I'm always a huge "NO-NO! DON'T GO TO THE TANNING BED!!!" type of gal...however, I just need a good base for my wedding. Then I'll let the sun do its thing!

4. THIS picture message I got the night of the NFL draft. Caleb was waiting for me back at the apartment, jersey, hat, sweatpants and all. Can't say I hated it. Have I mentioned how excited I am to live with this stud lately?!?! Cauuuuuse I am!

5.  Ice.

What would I do without it? Caleb and I both set a challenge for ourselves this month...mine was to run 40 miles this month. I will have a full post on that to come! I will say, Caleb did AMAZING. Needless to say, our shins are not happy with us. Those treadmills are kinda rough on them...luckily May will be prettier and full of sunshine so we can run outside.

7. MY NEW DISNEY SHIRT ERIN GOT ME!!!

Go Redlegs!

Tonight, Caleb and I have a FUN evening planned with our favorites! That means a Red's baseball game downtown! Not just any... but the first Friday Night game of the season, complete with hot dogs and lemon freezes (JK in my dreams...my diet says no!), and FIREWORKS. I am thrilled. 

The four of us LOVE to go to games together... we've sadly not been to enough, but we plan to change that this summer. It's a fun night out!

Dear Erin and Jared, you guys ready for a spring AND summer full of fun!?!

Dear rain delays (that turn into a cancelled game),...I hate you, you're a waste of time, DON'T happen this season. Thanks :)

Dear Caleb, thanks for making the most of those delayed games with me. Even if we do get soaking wet! Thank goodness for golf umbrellas and laughter.

Spring time seriously feels like its HERE and I am so happy about it. I'm looking forward to a weekend full of sunshine and beautiful skies!
