Falling for fall.

Fall has always been my absolute favorite season. That could have something to do with the fact that I've NEVER (yes, never) had AC in my car since I began driving. So to say summer is always a little unbearable is an understatement.

I just can't help it. Fall is perfection. I'm able to wear sandals AND a scarf at the same time, and my body isn't confused by this at all. I can take a walk at 8PM with Caleb and need a light jacket, and most importantly? I can make a cup of hot tea and not feel crazy for the high temps outside. You ladies with me?

So if I could choose (and my bank account would oblige), these would be my Fall staples.

This is where I need your help!!
I'm in need of a new pair of fall boots. Two years ago I spent a pretty penny on two pairs of boots, and they have lasted for a good two years. They are starting to hit their breaking point though...so this is where you ladies come in! I'm looking for an adorable pair of booties (grey, brown or black) and a mid calf pair of boots (preferably brown). Any good sales I need to know about!!? Any amazing websites (I already subscribe to Shop It To Me, Groopdealz and Zulily, maybe I just need to be looking a little harder!)

Spring fever!

With temperatures rising, my mind is all over the place. "I need that maxi dress, right!? What about this printed skirt!?!! But those shoes are on sale!!!!"...but I have to be tight with the ole wallet, if ya know what I mean. So how do I get my fix? By making a Spring wish list...hiiiii Caleb, if you ever see this....here's a few hints! ;)

Also on my spring wish list would be a super cute umbrella for all those rainy days, some brand new dangly earrings, and a simple black blazer to throw on top of all my bright, shiny tops!

I truly can't remember the last time I went shopping. Like -went to the mall and prepared myself to spend at least $100 on whatever I found- kind of shopping...I guess I just can't justify that anymore. So, I keep wearing the same things, year after year, purchasing a random top here and there... but not investing in good, quality clothing. I think maybe now is the time to sell some old clothes to a local shop, or use some hard earned photography money and get myself a few nice things. Waddyaaa sayyy, ladies?! ;)

A few weeks ago, Caleb and I were hanging out with Erin and Jared and somehow we all got to talking about what we'd do if we won the lottery. I proceeded to say I'd take a few thousand bucks of someone else's (like Caleb's if he won), and just rebuild my wardrobe. Trust me, girl needs an upgrade.

Erin agreed, she'd do the same.

Well, the guys just could NOT get over it and acted like we were being greedy. Jared continued on in saying "I could see giving you guys like five HUNDRED...but not thousand."
