My weekend started off REALLY well when Erin forwarded me the Bath and Body Works email informing us their candles were ON SALE for 2/$22!!!! I don't know if I've ever mentioned this, but I used to work there pretty much all throughout college. So I knew you were allowed to use the $10 off $30 coup that came in the email, essentially getting you 3 candles for the price of one. I MEAN!!!! So I went on my lunch break and scored these 3 babies. I burned "Pumpkin Apple" all weekend, and its safe to say I want to eat it.
Also this text between Caleb and I (about the candles) made me laugh. Silly boys.
Once I got off work, I went home, then picked up one of my favorite gals ever! Miss Greta. We got chickfila, picked up snacks, girl talked and watched 3 movies. It was the ultimate ladies night in!
Saturday morning after I took her home, Caleb and I got ready for a last-minute wedding we were hired to shoot. I was obsessed with our shots. The couple was SO laid back, and made our job way too easy. It was the shortest, sweetest little day and we're happy to say it was another successful day in the books!
The reception was over pretty early so we were home by 8:30 (woo!), so we still had an entire night ahead of us. We relaxed on the couch and watched some of our favorite shows. It was awesome! Sunday Caleb was able to go to the Bengals game, so I went to church and after running a few errands came home to watch the game myself...and WOO! My Bengals are absolutely tearing it UP! I will always be a fan of the Bengals (win or lose, rain or shine), but they are making it way better to be a fan right now. So much celebrating!!
I also got some amazing, incredible, tear-filled good news on Sunday and I'm bursting at the seams with excitement. Please keep my family in your prayers, and I'll explain more another time! (and no, Caleb and I are not expecting!)
Have an amazing Monday, friends!!!
Reading the word Chickfila this early in the morning reeeeeeally makes me want some...yum! Praying and jumping for joy with and for you!
ReplyDeleteI'm kinda mirroring Caleb's response - as much as I want to go snag that deal, I feel that I have enough candles, and don't burn them enough. But I do need to go to the mall so I may browse and we'll see what happens ;)
ReplyDeleteAmazing, incredible, tear-filled good news???? Are you pregnant!????? :)
ReplyDeleteHappy you're happy. And yay for fall candles!
ReplyDeleteThat text conversation is hilarious!! Also, share the news ASAP! :))
ReplyDeleteso excited for you (even if I don't know what it is yet!) Michael would have reacted the exact same way about the candles! oh boys!
ReplyDeleteWe have the candle conversation FAR too often. Somehow I managed to restrain myself this weekend though!
ReplyDeleteI saw those sales and totally thought the same thing, we have too many. But then I went to bring out all the fall scents, and we only have 1 left!! Eek, I can't believe I missed it. I'll have to wait for another coupon because they seem to run the 2/$22 all the time!
ReplyDeleteHaha love caleb's candle comment! That sounds like such a fun wedding to shoot! I'm already excited for you since whatever it is is making you so happy!!! :) I feel like now and until you have a kid you'll always have to mention that you're not pregnant if you have exciting news to share haha.
ReplyDeleteDangit!!! I missed the B&B Works Candle sale!! I am sick right now!! UGH! And love the texting between you and Caleb!! Sounds like Ross and I! Ha! yay for the great news!! Can't wait to hear...I am dying to know!!
ReplyDeleteLove that we took identical candles shots!! ;) There were NO trick-or-treat ones when we got there, and that pumpkin marshmallow one was a close runner-up, but I'm loving the ones we got!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are stunning as always! And wow...I wish I knew about the candle tip years ago! I'm too fragrance sensitive to set foot in BBW these days, but that's an awesome deal!
ReplyDeleteYay for a wonderful weekend and great news!! Cannot WAIT to hear all about it :)
ReplyDeleteI love that necklace in the last photo!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great weekend! I think the real question is - are Erin and her hubby expecting??? ;-)
ReplyDeleteUmmm.....why didn't I get the Bath and Body works text?? Next time!
ReplyDeleteIf you happen to go back and get another candle, be sure to get Bourbon Butterscotch. It's amazing. And I can't wait to hear the news!!
ReplyDeleteMEN. they don't understand the need for candles.
ReplyDeleteThe short answer is: No. You can never have too many candles. My boyfriend fully understands that candles are the perfect go-to gift for any occasion.
