I was emailing with Erin (per the usual) last week and all of a sudden, I had a spurt of SERIOUS motivation. Back story; Caleb and I have been a little pathetic as of late...as in, no real home cooking, not exercising together, and definitely not paying off our debt. So we had a discussion and want to make June OUR month.
What are my
generic goals for this month?!
-I want to mix up my workouts. I'm taking a boxing class (its free for first timers) this week with a co worker, I want to do an Insanity video, more yoga, try the arch trainer at the gym! I think doing the SAME thing every day gets old, and keeping things exciting motivates me.
-I want to run my heart out. (maybe more like 40 miles this month, I think 50 was a bit much last month).
-I want to cook a couple new meals for my husband. Any delicious, but somewhat simple recipes, friends?!
-I want to rebuild that stinking emergency fund. (Caleb's car repairs just had a hefty price tag).
I want to reassess and STICK to our budget.
-I WANT TO HIT THE WEIGHTS AGAIN. I just need Caleb to help me at first!
Yeah that's right...this gal is going to make ALL OF HER GOALS HAPPEN!
As I seem to always find myself saying "no one is stopping us from making our dreams happen but ourselves"...so get ready for one heck of a month SELF!
...right after I eat these 2 cookies.
...k but seriously. It's the first Monday in June and I'M DOING THIS!
