...that is what we did this weekend. I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful it was.
Our friends are always telling us to "say no to plans sometimes", and to "slow down" - our lives seem to be happening so quickly around us that sometimes we forget to schedule days/evenings with absolutely nothing in them. I'm so happy to report, that Friday through Sunday evening we had absolutely no plans on our calendar.
Macbooks are fun. |
Friday night we decided to grab dinner and milkshakes. Saturday we ran tons of little errands that we'd been meaning to take care of, watched WAY too much Dexter...and yes, I even made a new salsa recipe. My kitchen once again, smelled like Chipotle. I was in love.
Sunday, icy rain hit Cincinnati, so both church and our youth group were cancelled...so we got up, relaxed, made some yummy lettuce wraps, and stayed in all day.
It was amazing...being able to do whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted. No photo shoots were scheduled, no major church events, no lunch plans, no nothing...just 48ish hours of uninterrupted time with my man.
This is about the best I looked this weekend, nappy, greasy, non-showered hair...and I just loved it.
Hope your weekend was as relaxing, and as enjoyable as ours!
That sounds like a great weekend! Plans are fun but doing nothing is also just as fun!! I look forward to the nights where I can do whatever I want haha. Can't wait to relax with you!!! :)
