Okay, phew! Last week was FUN! All of the posts can be found shortly under the "Our Wedding" tab up above! It was so much fun, and the reception pictures could NOT fit in one post...so I'm going to extend it into this week! Sorry I was absent yesterday, homegirl needed a day off ;)
SO! After Caleb surprised me one last time (here), we ate dinner! It was delicious.
We had stuffed shells, and also chicken poppy (shredded chicken in alfredo sauce, with poppyseeds over a bed of rice!)!
After dinner, it was time for the toasts!
Lets just say, things got intense. He cracked us up, and started to make me cry! I am so thankful for his relationship with Caleb, and that I can not only now call him my brother, but an amazing friend, too! I'm also glad Jared was smart enough to pick a beautiful wife, who I can also call my sister!
& then it was time for Lyndsie's speech. She did perfect. It was funny, emotional, and most of all, sincere. She is the gal who introduced Caleb and I to begin with...so it meant the world for her to be by my side all day, and throughout life!
She gave Caleb three solid tips on how to make me a happy wife. My favorite ridiculous movie, marshmallow fluff (that I was caught eating straight out of the jar later that night!) and a Chickfila gift card. Girl knows the way to my heart.
After the amazing speeches, it was time for Caleb and I to cut our beautiful cake (Cincinnati Brides -- Dawn @ Lulabelle's Bakery took care of us! She is amazing, and people raved about our cupcakes for WEEKS!).
See the surprise in his face? I think we both thought we'd be "nice", but I had another thing coming. Haha, overall...we were a LOT nicer than some people I've seen. We had a lot of fun with this!
Our cake was amazing. The whole "cake cutting" thing was just so much fun, and I want to go back now! I think Caleb and I both agree we'd give anything to go back to our wedding day and relive it all again. It was just a beautiful day.
Come back tomorrow for the last part of the reception. Let me just say, if you don't like dancing...you won't be happy with tomorrows post ;)
