Today is going to be a long day, with a capital L. After work, Caleb and I are going to my grandparents to pick up the U-haul, pack it up, and deliver basically my entire life to the apartment. Although I'm not looking forward to this part of it, the end result will make me one happy girl.
For those of you who are new around here, Caleb and I kept things pretty traditional and didn't live together until after we got married. This made things really special...but man it makes things hard. I probably sound like a broken record, but I completely feel as if I've been living out of a suitcase the past week. It's not fun. Although, living with my studly husband makes things a little easier (that's still fun to say).
Know what else being moved in by tonight will mean? I will have my computer set up! Know what THAT means? Pre-wedding, some candid wedding, and HONEYMOON pictures!!! I am probably way more excited than you are...but none the less.
So for now...you know what time it is. Random Wednesday!
Except this time...I want to talk about some things that have made me HAPPY lately!
-I've talked before about the YouVersion Bible App. It is what keeps me on track for my New Years resolution of reading the entire bible in 2013. Well over the weekend on a complete whim I entered their Live Webcast (in celebration of their nearly 1,000,000 app downloads) giveaway to win an iPad. Um... I WON! Like are you kidding me? Hundreds of THOUSANDS of people entered...and I WON? I still cannot believe it. God is great...what's even crazier is that Caleb and I finally caved after the honeymoon and spent our Target "in store credits" on an iPad mini and didn't have to spend a dime. Since we are attacking our debt like crazy, we are probably just going to sell it and use the $ to jump start our attack plan!
-Looking at our honeymoon pictures on my camera gets my brain juices flowing...I keep searching around the apartment to see where we can hang a new canvas-wrap. This place DEFINITELY needs decorating. Maybe mid summer once the place is all set up I'll do a home-tour post. Thoughts?

-I feel like summer is finally here...the weather is in the mid 80's and the sun is always high in the sky. I'm ready to have another vacation and spend it on the water. Ummm, blogger road trip anyone? ;)
-Long conversations with my girl Ashley make me a happy girl. It amazes me that someone I've never met in person can relate to me so much, and always be there when I need her. Also, this ADORABLE iPhone case she sent me. How sweet?

ReplyDelete"husband" will always be fun to say :) Yay for road trips. I tell all newlyweds that road tripping once a year is the best advice I can give. Just you two, some mix tapes and places you get to explore.
ReplyDeleteOh man moving is the worst! We didn't live together before the wedding either. Hal had moved all of his stuff beforehand, but neither of us lived there. After the honeymoon I had to pack up and move everything. We ended up setting up our bed at like midnight and it was horrible. But it was wonderful to finally live together.
