I am finally joining my friend, Amanda for her weekly "Ticked Off Tuesday" posts. She once called my blog "all sunshine and smiles" and I can't say I hate her for it, hehe. So when she asked me to participate, I thought sure.. it might be a fun change of pace for the day.
& no one said I had to be toooo negative. ;)
Promise. This won't be a post where I complain complain complain, because I'm very thankful... BUT. There are a few things in life that make me slightly annoyed....
SUCH AS:
-Those people who leave their shopping carts at random spots of the parking lot after shopping. Seriously? Don't be that person. If you had the energy to leave your house, put a bra on, and do the groceries... you have the energy to put it where it BELONGS!
-Fun suckers. Don't be one! If I have exciting news that I want to share with you, don't suck all the fun out of it for me by complaining about your own life and making me feel selfish for being happy! Silly people. Just be happy with where you are.
-Coin laundry. One thing I am NOT looking forward too about apartments. Hoping we get lucky enough to find one with a washer/dryer hook-up inside, or you better believe I'll be hang drying EVERYTHING. My place will look like the alley ways of an old china-town.
-Those stupid Galaxy S 3 commercials that trash talk the iPhone like its their job. Get lost. I mean, I get it. Its a cool phone, but it makes you look like crap by bashing something else just because you couldn't come up with it first.
-Generic mac and cheese. No, thank you.
-Wedding vendors who never respond to you. Uh, thanks but you are not helping your business out any by ignoring potential customers. Crazies!
That is enough complaining for me today. 'Bout did me in for the week ;)

Last night, Caleb and I had our first appointment with an apartment complex, it was a very fun first experience, we just aren't sure they are the ones for us. Which stinks, because they are less than TWO miles from my work! But, we know God's got something out there for us... we just have to find it!! Thanks for all your excitement via twitter/IG/my blog along with me about all of this wedding planning. You all are AWESOME!! Have a great day.
Oh my gosh the shopping cart thing makes me so angry! I've watched people push their carts up onto a curb just to avoid having to bring it back! Drives me bonkers. I'm always tempted to push it back to their car and say, "here, you forgot this..."
ReplyDelete:)
Coin laundry?! ACK! I would for REAL never do my laundry if we had that! I somehow went to the only college in America that had free laundry in the dorms (though I doubt they still do!) so I've never had to deal with that. I'll be thinking of you guys during the search!!
ReplyDeleteThe wedding vendors thing! Oh my gosh - if I'm potentially going to pay you one heck of a sum of money, answer me! Do you not want my money?!
Apartment hunting is so frustrating sometimes :( But when it's right, the perfect one will land in your lap! And by perfect, I mean one WITHOUT coin laundry! That would be the biggest fun sucker of all time.
ReplyDeleteHappy hunting!
oh girl, nothing gets dried in my house except sheets and towels. i am a hang dry snob over here.
ReplyDeleteI am a very punctual person- the wedding vendors is rough!! I love my photographer over the moon, but when they don't respond asap I get nervous!! :) Feel your pain there!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya on the wedding vendors not getting back to you in a timely manner! I'm having that problem right now with one... Oh and the grocery carts, that bothers me too, I always push extra ones back if I see them sitting somewhere. Love the trees in that picture!!
ReplyDeleteI hate when wedding vendors don't get back in touch with you or when they act like they don't really care if they get your business or not. No thank you. Happy apartment hunting!
ReplyDeleteFinding the right apartment can be hard. we've really liked apartments that are smaller, that have like 30 or less apartments, you might not get the work out room, or the pool, but usually you get to know your neighbors better and depending on the manager, they bug you a lot less.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm....how do I say this without breaking up our friendship? Sometimes I leave the cart right there. Not very often...and especially never before having kids...but I can say a few times, with one kiddo in one arm and another one waiting to jump out in traffic, I just leave the cart and get the heck out of there.
ReplyDeleteapartment hunting, bless & good luck. we are house hunting and I'm sure I've nit-picked everything so I understand. It's not an easy process while you're trying to finish wedding stuff.
ReplyDeleteI am with you on the fun suckers! And the Galaxy S! Good luck finding an apartment!
ReplyDeleteK, 1. You live in a place where people put their bras on to go to the grocery store? Lucky!
ReplyDelete2. Fun suckers = a funny phrase that looks not a lot like something else
3. Pretty picture :-)
Fun suckers... the worst.
ReplyDeleteI may be guilty of not returning the cart to the proper spot :/ woops ;)
