For those of you who don't know, I'm kind of obsessed with photography. I got my baby camera when I turned 20 a couple summers back, and basically haven't put it down since.
My ultimate dream is to be a SAHM (waayyy down the road), & with that, also a full time photographer. I absolutely love capturing fun moments of new families, couples, etc... it really is my passion. So I thought I'd share a few more with you guys today! I really am not comfortable putting myself "out there", but isn't that what this blog is for anyway!?
This is just a little snippet of my passion and I love being able to share it with you guys :)
Caleb and I have been volunteering with the youth group for a few weeks now, and plan to make it a weekly thing. Last night, we talked about "living on purpose"... and my word of the night became "intentional". Which is funny, since that was one of my new years resolutions; to be more intentional. In my relationships, at work, with my family, at church... and I have to say, its working.
Photography is my passion, and I want to use it for Christ.
& please excuse me, I had NO time to prepare my usual Monday post-weekend recap, I'll be back with more on that tomorrow!
Go out today, and live your life ON PURPOSE. Be intentional, and be happy.
Love you all!
You got talent my friend!! That maternity one is just the sweetest! I love that "be intentional" goal - definitely going to try and apply that!

ReplyDeleteThese photos are great! I totally agree with you, it's important to live intentionally and to let God direct your life. It makes a huge difference.
ReplyDeleteHoly Toledo you are flipping amazing. When I come for our slumber party lets have photo sessions the whole time. I want to learn and want you to take my picture!!! Hehe love you pretty girl.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for this moment (for you to be a SAHM and photographer!) :-)
ReplyDeleteI used this quote in my lesson yesterday and it goes along perfectly with "living on purpose"
“It is not enough just to live, just to survive. It is incumbent on each of us to equip ourselves to do something worthwhile in society-to acquire more and more light, so that our personal light can help illuminate a darkened world. And this is made possible through learning, through educating ourselves, through progressing and growing in both mind and spirit."~President Gordon B. Hinckley
Isn't that great?
This is my dream too! And at the moment it is currently in the works! I finally got brave enough and have started putting myself out there and I have people booking pictures left and right! I am still nervous and start to second guess myself but I know this is my dream and you have to start somewhere!!! Go for it.
ReplyDeleteIntentional living is the only way to be girlfriend. I love you and love that you know what you want to do in life. I KNOW you will succeed in everything you do. Oh, and I promise to have cute nieces and nephews for you to take lots of pictures of ;)

DeleteAwww. These pictures are beautiful! I want to be a SAHM too (Hopefully within the next 2 years) and I've been trying to figure out things I love to do that I could make money doing while being a SAHM. It's been fun dreaming about it the last month or so. In not too long, I'll be putting things into action. I'm SO excited!
