Christmas shenanigans #2

Caleb and I had been looking forward to this past Saturday for quite a while... if you are from around Cincinnati you've probably heard of a restaurant called Eddie Merlots nearby. It's pretty snazzy (meaning, too fancy for my budget). My company was having our annual Christmas party there this year, and it is my FIRST party since I recently got hired!! I scored a cute business-type dress for $20 at TJ Maxx a couple of weeks ago, with the help of my man -- thanks babe!

Since its a rare occasion that we get all snazzed up, we decided to snap a few pictures before we left... and ladies, when your man is ready for a close-up, you don't pass up on that opportunity, amiriiight?!

He gets all worked up because he says I always cut off his hair and he says "people will think I'm bald!" Ha! He kills me. I assure you, he has a thick head of hair.

Dang, he cleans up good. He just bought a crap ton of sweaters from Gap and Old Navy and I have to say, the man's got taste.

Sheesh, girl needs her hair done!

We had a blast at the party, complete with a 4-course meal (appetizers, salad, entree - I got the filet mignon and stuffed shrimp, and dessert) and not only did they give a speech and recognized me in it, the owner gave me a Christmas bonus as well. Totally unexpected but so incredibly sweet of them.

Only my man would order a "tall glass of milk" at some fancy joint. Gotta love him.

I have to say, being faithful in the Lord has been scary sometimes, but by giving sacrificially to others... He sure does take care of those who love Him. Caleb and I are getting so giddy as we plan every last detail of our big day and we really can't wait to book our honeymoon within the next month or two.
